Voltrium's new ION Max provides premium features including low-maintenance hydraulic brakes, front and rear suspension, NFC security, turn signals on the ends of the handlebars and LED side lighting.

At only 18Kg, thanks in part to the magnesium unibody, the ION Max features a solid yet simple folding mechanism, forgiving 10x3 tyres, high ground clearance and is backed by an incredible 2 year warranty.

    Compact Foldable Design

    Fold the ION Max in seconds for easy transport, even in a small car.

    Maximum Comfort & Safety

    Premium features include fully hydraulic rear disc brakes which not only provide supreme stopping power, they require significantly less maintenance than conventional cable brakes. 

    10 Inch (x 3 Inch) tyres significantly increase grip and safety, and provide a larger margin of forgiveness than tyres which are smaller and/or more narrow. 

    Handle bar end turn signal lights mean you can signal to other road users without taking your hand off the handlebar. The height of the turn signals - at the highest possible level of the scooter, make them more conspicuous than safety lights which are usually restricted to only being at deck level. Integrated LED side lights on the deck and a red, flashing rear LED and brake light also help improve rider visibility.

    Performance Modes

    Walk mode + 3 Ride Modes - Double tap the "E" button to cycle between riding modes. Select the responsiveness of the acceleration to suit your riding style and riding conditions.

    • Walk Mode - the scooter will creep along at 5km/h to assist with unmounted manoeuvring or loading up ramps.
    • ECO Mode - Reduces acceleration torque and limits top speed (10km/h).
    • D (Drive) Mode - Normal acceleration and limits top speed (20km/h).
    • SPORT Mode - Maximum torque, acceleration and top speed (45km/h).

    Hard-Wired Speed Limiter

    Besides the max speed limits of the different riding modes, the Ion Max can be switched to “hard-wired” speed limited mode of 25km/h maximum speed. First, put the scooter in the D (Drive) mode. Wait for 2 seconds before holding down the brake lever. Then with the brake still held, press the power button 3 times. You will hear a beep. The scooter is then locked to 25km/h maximum speed. Repeat the process to toggle the hard limiter between "Off" and "on".
