    Performance Modes

    Walk mode + 3 Ride Modes - Double tap the "E" button to cycle between riding modes. Select the responsiveness of the acceleration to suit your riding style and riding conditions.

    • Walk Mode - the scooter will creep along at 5km/h to assist with unmounted manoeuvring or loading up ramps.
    • ECO Mode - Reduces acceleration torque and limits top speed (10km/h).
    • D (Drive) Mode - Normal acceleration and limits top speed (20km/h).
    • SPORT Mode - Maximum torque, acceleration and top speed (45km/h).

    Hard-Wired Speed Limiter

    Besides the max speed limits of the different riding modes, the Ion Max can be unlocked from PMD compliant 25km/h maximum speed, for use on private property. First, put the scooter in the D (Drive) mode. Wait for 2 seconds before holding down the brake lever. Then with the brake still held, press the power button 3 times. You will hear a beep. The scooter is then unlocked from 25km/h maximum speed. Repeat the process to toggle the hard limiter between "Off" and "On".
