Extra-Thick CST Construction
One of the main advantages of this tyre over cheaper generic replacements is its heavier, extra-thick rubber construction. The additional rubber provides greater resistance to normal tread wear and helps create a robust tyre for regular commuting and higher-mileage use.
Unlike a solid tyre, it retains a pneumatic inner tube, helping preserve ride comfort and road compliance rather than transferring every bump and vibration through the scooter.
Cross-Hatch Road Tread
The CST tread uses curved intersecting grooves across both sides of the tyre. These create numerous tread edges for traction while retaining a large rubber contact area for smooth road use.
Important: This is an outer tyre only. A compatible 8.5 x 2 inner tube is required and sold separately.
