High-output 67.2V 4A fast charger for 60V lithium-ion electric scooters using a GX16-3 charging connector.
This RCM Certified charger uses EcoMotion’s versatile GX16-3 universal wiring configuration:
Pin 1 = Positive (+)
Pin 2 = Negative (–)
Pin 3 = Negative (–)
This allows the charger to work with the two common GX16-3 charging configurations used across 60V electric scooters:
Because Pins 2 and 3 are both connected to the same negative output, the charger can support either configuration without changing polarity.
The 4A output provides substantially faster charging than common 2A and 2.5A chargers, provided the scooter and battery management system are rated to accept a 4A charging current.
Designed for Australian use with an RCM-approved Australian mains connection, the charger also features a removable IEC 60320 C14 three-pin AC inlet, providing a more secure and serviceable connection than permanently attached mains leads.
US and UK mains lead options are also available.

A major advantage of this charger is its dual-negative GX16-3 configuration.
Many scooters use:
Pin 1 (+) → Positive
Pin 3 (–) → Negative
Pin 2 → Not connected
The charger supplies power through Pins 1 and 3 normally.
Some scooters—including models from EMOVE, Teverun, Blade and KingSong - use:
Pin 1 (+) → Positive
Pin 2 (–) → Negative
Pin 3 → Not connected
The charger instead supplies power through Pins 1 and 2.
Pins 2 and 3 are connected to the same negative output inside the charger. They are therefore at the same electrical potential.
The scooter simply uses whichever negative pin its charging port is wired to; the other negative pin has no effect where the corresponding scooter socket contact is not connected.
This means the charger maintains:
Pin 1 = Positive
Pins 2 & 3 = Negative
and does not reverse the charging polarity.
It may also suit other 60V lithium-ion electric scooters requiring a 67.2V charger with a GX16-3 connector, subject to battery charging-current specifications.
Important: Always confirm your scooter uses a 60V nominal / 67.2V full-charge battery and that its battery/BMS can accept a 4A charging current before use.
Compared with a conventional 2A charger, a 4A charger can significantly reduce charging time where the battery is designed to accept the higher current.
For example, under ideal conditions a 4A charger can supply approximately twice the charging current of a 2A charger. Actual charging time will depend on battery capacity, state of charge, BMS limitations and the constant-voltage phase near full charge.
Rather than using a permanently attached mains cable, this charger incorporates a standard IEC 60320 C14 inlet.
